    • Magnuson officially releases Cadillac CTS-V LT4 TVS2300 supercharger upgrade for $4995

Talk about a value supercharger upgrade and a great performer at that! The third generation Cadillac CTS-V suffers from the same problem all GM LT4 motors suffer from, an easily heat-soaked baby blower. The factory TVS1740 supercharger is simply too small and generates too much heat.

It was a mistake. GM themselves realized this when they equipped the C7 ZR1 with a TVS2650.

Well, this TVS2300 from Magnuson fits nicely in the middle and is a huge value to boot at $4995.

The fitment looks just like OEM and you also get an upgraded intercooler. You will be able to make more power with this blower and generate less heat while doing so.

What kind of power? Just bolting this larger blower on results in 60 rear wheel horsepower.

If you want to get crazy, you will need a tune, larger throttle body, and fuel system upgrades. 1000 crank horsepower is within reach.

Simply an awesome, factory like upgrade from Magnuson.

      • Integrated vacuum bypass valve

We will see how this does. Right now the fastest V3 record keeps going back and forth between a procharger car and a whipple car. I think the record is right at 9.0 at mid 170mph in the summer heat.
No doubt there will be a handful of 8s V3's as the weather cools down.

Also, there are at least 2 twin turbo V3s that are just getting finished that will be super fast if they can get them to hook.

        What size is the whipple?

Not sure how I missed those 170+ mph CTS-V's. That's insane.

I'd be happy with this TVS2300 for the money. If going balls out, F1X it is.

It's a 2.9 Whipple with nitrous I think. Did 9.1@152, the Procharged car did 9.0@158 mph. This TVS is the most budget friendly option though.

It essentially does what the factory should have done.

My bad it was mid 150s, not 170's. Brain fart and was at work.
Still should be a few in the 8s soon.

Three 9.1 passes in a row back to back lol. And he said 5th gear was slipping. This is a Whipple and nitrous.
