    • Weapon X automatic Cadillac ATS-V goes 10.9@127 in the 1/4 mile with bolt ons

You may be asking, why is a 10.9 @ 127 in the 1/4 mile from a Cadillac ATS-V news when one previously went a quicker and faster 10.7 @ 130? Well, there is a good reason for that. This particular ATS-V did it without any methanol injection.

This is the full mod list:

      WXM calibration
WXM downpipes and full 3" exhaust
      WXM manifold barrier
      WXM high flow filters

Your basic bolt on modifications and of course drag radials help achieve that 1.55 60 foot.

Incredible results considering the 2100+ density altitude and it also goes to show the automatic transmission is very capable at the strip. We expect to see mid 10's with more favorable DA and maybe a high octane tune or meth.

Done on only 20psi. A lot more to come from this platform. WeaponX says they will have fuel pump solutions for E85, cam kits, ported heads, handheld tuning device...all coming soon. We will see what these stock turbos have in them.

The Domestic market will get more out of the ATS-V faster than the German aftermarket will get the same out of the F80 M3.

        It's no surprise.

Also once some more enthusiast owners get their hands on the ATS-V, we will see more progression. The car hasn't been in showrooms that long. Right now there are really only two people pushing the platform (owners of Fasterproms and Weaponx). They both easily put the car into the 10's with minor mods, manual and 8-speed auto.

OK. Fbo e85 ats-v VS fbo e85 gt-r. I'm debating these 2 for my next car, I can't decide buy used gtr or lease an ats-v? To me its looking like the V is basically a rear wheel drive gtr and slightly lighter. I like the V because its more of a sleeper but I test drove a ats 3.6 and it was quite boring even compared to my 135i. But anyway who wins a roll race between the 2 same mods?

        Weight is almost the same?

A full bolt on GTR is about ~600 whp on E85 from what I've seen.

The ATS-V isn't a slouch in full bolt on mode but it seems to be trapping quite a bit less than full bolt on GTR's.
